The granules are very varied glaze compositions that are compacted by atomization in a rounded shape. ESMALTES has a wide range of granules with a very different chemical composition, melting range and granulometry.
The main advantages of using these pellets compared to the crashed frits (grits) are:
– Absence of infused particles as it can happen in the case of grits.
– The spherical geometric shape against the irregular shape of the grits, which results in better fluidity at the time of application system, by dry or wet process.
– Mass colouring against the external coating used for the colored grits.

XL GRANULES FAMILY 
Large granulometry. We have more than 20 different references so an infinite number of combinations can be made in order to obtain different surfaces being natural or decorative appearance by applying in dry these mixtures.

ML GRANULES FAMILY 
Intermediate granulometry. This family allows both dry and wet application. We have a wide range of melting temperature ranges to be used in porous single-firing, stoneware and porcelain stoneware.

SL GRANULES FAMILY 
Smaller granulometry. These granules allow both dry and wet processes, especially airless application. They could be applied to all technologies from low temperature double fast firing to high temperature porcelain stoneware due to the wide variety for different temperatures of this family SL granules.
